Naga City, Camrines Sur, the Philippines, 25 April 2017 -  ESCA Knowledge signed today a Memorandum of Agreement for Industry-Academe and Training Partnership with the Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU).

Fr. Primitivo Viray, S.J., ADNU President commented that with common passion, mission and vision in developing our youth, to contribute and benefit from global society for the transformation of the Filipino nation – the development of Bicol, we look forward to working together.

Under the partnership, ESCA Knowledge will enable ADNU to offer as part of its curriculum, and for its graduates to be trained for applications in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and gain significant industry exposure and practice to add competitive value. Together with ADNU, ESCA Knowledge will also offer short course on BIM in and for the Bicol region.

Ateneo de Naga is the premier higher educational institution in the Bicol region - a region that accounts for 6% of the 500,000 engineering students in the country. In 2016, Naga City was elevated as a "Next Wave City" by the Philippine IT-BPM industry.

Translating a trusted brand to skills and knowledge development, ESCA Knowledge is matching skills and training with industry needs, and the partnership aims to produce Knowledge Professionals in BIM and other technological opportunities that are increasingly required by the global architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) sector.

Dr. Ernesto de Castro, ESCA Knowledge's Chairman and Immediate Past President of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers is referred to as the country's "MR BIM" for his true advocacy on the wider adoption of BIM in the country.

ESCA Knowledge is an affiliate of ESCA Inc., one of the nation’s most respected engineering firms and one of the first adopters of BIM in the country, and ESCA International a trusted pioneer in engineering services outsourcing (ESO).
